OUR PATRON TOURS DOLA HILL STADIUM

ZAFFICO Managing Director Mundia Mundia is impressed with the rehabilitation works done at Dola Hill Stadium.

Mr Mundia, who is also Forest Rangers Patron yesterday conducted his final tour of the facility which is just a few metres from his office.

After the tour, Mr Mundia told club chairman Ray Mumba that he is happy with the works done on the facility thus far and saluted all the stakeholders for their input.

“Congratulations on the great job you and your team have done. The Stadium looks beautiful and It’s great we are finally back home. I know you have more plans to further improve the facility but just like a home, people usually move in before the works are completed and they continue to improve as they go. This is a great step you have taken,” he said.

He further said, it was great that the club would be able to generate some form of income from the many supporters who love football around the community.

“It looks like the fans are ready to have you back at the stadium and this means Forest Rangers can now generate a stable income from the gate takings and reduce its costs in terms of hiring a stadium for their home matches,” Mr Mundia said.

Forest Rangers will tomorrow host Chambishi FC in what will be their first league match at Dola Hill Stadium since November 2015.

The team is excited to play in infront of their passionate Dola Hill faithfuls for the first time and are looking forward to welcoming them with a victory
