LIBAMBA OFF TO COMOROS

Forest Rangers striker Libamba Moyela is part of the 27 member squad that is on its way to Comoros for Saturday’s Group H Africa Cup of Nations in Moroni.

In an interview with the Forest media team, Libamba said he was looking forward to playing with the likes of Patson Daka.

“I am very excited to be called to the senior nation team, because this will be my first time.”

“When it comes to the players I look forward to playing alongside, well, Patson Daka, Thandi Mwape and Frankie Musonda are amongst them. Otherwise, I am very excited to be part of the team. ” said Libamba

Zambia is going into this match having already qualified and topping Group H with 12 points. Ivory Coast is second with 10 points. Whilst Comoros is third with six points and Lesotho are at the bottom of the table with only one point.

The team will be expected to train at the Stade Malouizini at 21:00 hours.

The AFCON will be held on Ivory Coast in January next year.
