Forest Rangers Separates With Nine Players!

Forest Rangers Football club wishes to confirm its separation with nine players ahead of the new season. These include:

Midfielder and Captain, Laurent Muma who left the club and rejoined Power Dynamos after successful negotiations between the two clubs. The Captain had been on the books of Forest since 2015 and led the team to its first ABSA Cup and CAF Champions League.

Nigerian Forward, Quadri Kola is amongst the players who have left the club after his contract ended. Kola Joined Forest in 2020 under Tenant Chilumba. During the two seasons he was with the club, the player scored a total of 16 goals and provided eight assists.

He was also very instrumental in getting the team to their first ABSA Cup and CAF Champions league qualification.

Other players that have left the club include,

Goalkeeper Simon Zimba who joined the club from Lumwana Radiants in 2021, Defender Anshel Siame who joined from Gomes FC and has been on the books of Forest for five years, Chishimba Changala who returns to his parent club Nkwazi FC after the end of his loan contract and Pele Ngulakwey who joined the Club in 2018 and Chomba Mulenga who joined the club in 2020.

The rest are Midfielders Manaseh Soko and Zimbabwean Tanaka Chinyahara who joined the Club in 2018 and 2017 respectively.

The Club Chairman, Ray Mumba has thanked the above players for their contribution to the club during the periods of their permanent or loan contracts with Forest Rangers.

“You will always be part of the Malembe Family and we wish you all the best of health, happiness and success in the future,” Mr. Mumba said.
