THE BOY NEXT DOOR- MONDAY BWALYA

Most of the time when a player gets signed but another club, they have to think of moving from one town to the other, but that’s not the case for our latest signing.

“It was like moving from my auntie’s house to my uncle’s house, because I am still in Ndola and I have worked with most of the players here before.” he said.

After successful negotiations with his parent club MUZA FC, Forest Rangers is proud to announce the signing of Monday Bwalya formerly of Buildcon FC.

The boy next door has penned a two-year contract with club.

Bwalya will be looking to add his experience to the Malembe midfield, joining the likes of Clifford Mulenga, Lazarous Chishimba, Shadreck Malambo and Robson Phiri.

In his first interview with the club, the attacking midfielder expressed delight in joining the team and working with Coach Ian Bakala.

“I am happy to work with the coach, he is a very good coach and I have been looking for an opportunity to work with him and it’s finally here.” said Bwalya.

The Attacking Midfielder, is Forest’s second signing during this mid-season break, as they look to beef up their squad in preparation for the ABSA CUP and contending for the league title.
